Ruffy Biazon gives early thumbs up to new AFP chief Sobejana
Is the new military chief the key to stronger defense of the West Philippine Sea?
Muntinlupa Rep. Ruffy Biazon is encouraged with latest interviews from Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, the newly-minted chief of staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. For him, the military man is off to a good start regarding his take on the contested waters dominated by China.
Sobejana described China’s new coast guard law as “very alarming,” seeing it as a threat to Pinoy fishermen.
“I like what I’m hearing,” Biazon said of the AFP chief. Will his words translate into action?
