Marikina Mayor Marcy Teodoro gave a warm welcome to new Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr. as he visited the city.
Abalos, once mayor and congressman of Mandaluyong, is counting on good ties with Teodoro and fellow Metro Manila politikos to pull off the gargantuan tasks of the MMDA under his watch.
The pair pledged cooperation, but only after the MMDA chief rained praises over how Marikina City is ably run by Teodoro.
