Jaye Lacson-Noel commits to being more earth-friendly

Jaye Lacson-Noel is taking one concrete step towards the zero waste initiative.

The Malabon congresswoman revealed that she has bought her own tumbler and utensil set, which she plans to bring and use anywhere she goes.

“Month of January is also known as the National Zero Waste Month. In line with this, I encourage everyone to practice zero waste lifestyle!,” the politiko said, hoping others will follow suit.

“Transitioning to a zero waste lifestyle demands that we change the way we live and work. Since then, I started to use and bring my own cutlery set instead of using plastic straws, and plastic spoon and fork. I also use my own mug which I can bring wherever I go so that I don’t have to buy bottled water,” she added, saying this will go a long way in reducing waste and preserving the environment.
