Alfred Vargas had a glimpse of how it was like to be a Katipunero.

The actor and Quezon City congressman revealed how close he was to the principles of Andres Bonifacio, the late hero who he got a chance to portray in a film. For him, it was a huge privilege.

“Since grade school, even though my section was 6-Rizal, Bonifacio has always been my favorite hero,” the politiko said. “It was a dream come true for me when I portrayed Andres Bonifacio in the award-winning film, Supremo.”
