Itodo na ‘yan! Alfred Vargas tells DSWD to pour remaining funds into typhoon relief

Now is not the time to be stingy.

Quezon City Congressman Alfred Vargas called out the Department of Social Welfare and Development to step up and fast-track the release of aid and other forms of assistance to families displaced by typhoon Ulysses and the storms before it, saying it’s already a do-or-die situation for people who lost their homes.

“DSWD should go all out and spend up to the very last cent of its funds to ease the poor’s suffering, especially as this challenging year draws to a close,” the politiko added.
