Winnie Castelo misses treating QC’s poor kids to a mall getaway
The pandemic has taken away one of Winnie Castelo’s favorite outreach programs.
The Quezon City councilor is terribly missing the time when he could round up these kids from poor families in his districts and treat them to an all-expenses-paid day at the mall, from food to toys and games. Sadly, kids their age are still not allowed to step out of their homes and the arcades they used to visit remain shut.
“One motivation to beat this virus is to dine normally with kids from our barangays at Jollibee – a tradition Precious and I do every year after treating them at Tom’s World in Ever Gotesco,” the politiko said.
