Advance mag-isip! Isko readies relief packs as Manila braces for typhoon Rolly
Help is coming for people to be displaced by typhoon Rolly in Manila.
Mayor Isko Moreno has ordered the city’s Department of Social Welfare to prepare food and relief packs to residents seen to be hit hard by the almost super typhoon Rolly a night ahead of its expected landfall.
It’s a hefty pack, with the boxes carrying 2 kilograms of rice, canned meat, noodles, and coffee to last them the rainy weekend.
“Titiyakin din po natin na magiging maayos ang sitwasyon ng mga homeless at street dwellers na nasa ating pangangalaga,” the politiko said.
