Vico Sotto found a silver lining to the discovery that a staff in Pasig City’s community kitchen got the coronavirus.

The millennial mayor broke the news on Monday, saying that all kitchen staff will be on quarantine for two weeks. They are also forced to stop supplying meals to COVID-19 patients in isolation centers and other frontliners during this period, but a temporary kitchen will be built soon.

“Good news: so far in our contact tracing, there is NO evidence of transmission within the Community Kitchen. Di nagkahawaan sa loob ng C.K. Ibig sabihin, maayos ang health safety protocols nila,” the politiko said.

“I’m very proud of them! Hanggang kahapon nasa 5K meals kada araw ang niluluto nila,” he added.
