Rains did not stop Caloocan Rep. Along Malapitan from attending the orientation of over 3,000 residents for the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s cash-for-work program.

Malapitan said the P4,050 pay that each worker will receive for 10 days of working will help tide them and their families over during the pandemic.

The beneficiaries of the cash-for-work program will start working from October 23.

DSWD is undertaking the cash-for-work program in partnership with the city government of Caloocan.
