For peace of mind: QC conducts free COVID-19 antibody testing for health workers
The Quezon City government conducted on Wednesday, October 7, free antibody testing for COVID-19 for healthcare workers at the frontlines of fighting the pandemic to ensure their protection from the virus.
Those who underwent testing at the Quezon City General Hospital (QCGH) were its healthcare workers, as well as those from the Rosario Maclang-Bautista General Hospital (RMBGH), and Novaliches District Hospital (NDH).
According to QCGH Director Dr. Josephine Sabando, the test will determine who among the survivors were able to develop antibodies for COVID-19.
During the pandemic, the Quezon City government has been providing other services for our HCW such as giving them free transportation, special risk allowance, hazard pay, and temporary homes.
