Call him killjoy, but Alfred Vargas thinks it’s not yet time to let loose drinking outdoors.

The actor turned Quezon City congressman sided with police after party revelers in a bar in Quezon City were arrested for drinking and staying out past curfew during quarantine. To him, the COVID-19 problem is still too big to forget using booze.

“For the time being, the only alcohol I consider using outside is the one that disinfects my hands and protects me from covid. The other alcohol is best and safest at home,” the politiko said. “E-numan a good option.”

Under GCQ rules, bars can only stand as restaurants and can only serve two servings of alcoholic drinks per person.
