Mourning in time of COVID: Toby Tiangco reminds visitors to dad’s wake to plan ahead
People who want to visit the wake of Navotas Mayor Toby Tiangco’s father should schedule their trip ahead for their own health and safety.
Tiangco reminded visitors to his father’s wake of guidelines as he thanked them for extending their sympathies.
In a series of tweets, the mayor said his father’s wake will be held at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig from September 22 to 24. Visitors should text the following numbers ahead of their visit for a schedule: 09274127904.
Restituto Tiangco died on September 21. The mayor said his father did not die of COVID-19.
After the wake at Heritage Park, Tiangco said there will be a viewing of his father’s remains at San Jose in Navotas on September 25. Cremation will follow on the same day.
