Oca Malapitan inaugurates 32-bed quarantine facility in North Caloocan
Caloocan Mayor Oscar Malapitan recently inaugurated a new, 32-bed quarantine facility in the city for COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms.
The quarantine facility located at the back of the Caloocan City North Medical Center (CCNMC) was built by the Department of Public Works and Highways.
In the turnover ceremony, Malapitan thanked DPWH for speeding up the construction of the quarantine facility, which has clean bathrooms and beds for patients.
“Sa pamamagitan ng bagong pasilidad na ito, mas mailalaan natin ang mga ospital sa mga may matinding sintomas at kritikal na mga pasyente,” he said.
The quarantine facility will have qualified medical personnel on duty to attend to medical needs of COVID-19 patients.
