Rex Gatchalian strict on Valenzuela’s QR code policy
Rex Gatchalian is dead serious about contact tracing.
The Valenzuela mayor said it’s all systems go for the city’s own contact tracing app and system, where each resident or visitor needs to have a QR code on their phone or ID to be scanned in any establishment they visit.
The rule will be enforced next month, so he’s spending the next few weeks telling people to do it already.
“Since we will be moving to a major policy come Oct 5 –– No QR Code No Entry, we will ensure that everybody knows. Posters and tarps are now being installed all over the city para come that date lahat alam na,” the politiko said.
