Ruffy Biazon knows the downside of reducing spacing in public transport

Hospitals have to keep up as more Filipinos are more likely to catch COVID-19.

Muntinlupa Rep. Ruffy Biazon was quite disappointed with how things will likely work out after the Transportation Department allowed diminishing social distance between commuters, as government now wants to open up the economy even more.

“Transportation is key to get the economy going. But this policy is best preceded by ramping up the surge capacity of healthcare institutions,” the politiko said. “If not, the most likely response by the IATF will be to shut down again if infection rates rise sharply.”
