137-175: Muntinlupa launches hotline for emergency response
Residents of Muntinlupa only need to call one number in case of emergency starting September 15: 137-175.
The local government of Muntinlupa launched the hotline number to centralize the reporting of emergencies and ensure quick response from the police, firefighters and medical workers, among others.
Calls through the hotline will be processed in the Muntinlupa City Command Center by designated officers from the Muntinlupa City Department of Disaster Resilience and Management, Muntinlupa City Rescue and other local agencies.
Muntinlupa City Mayor Jaime Fresnedi urged the public to save or remember the hotline for convenience.
“The launching of Muntinlupa’s emergency hotline is very timely especially that we are in a pandemic and enter the rainy season where cases of road accidents increase. The local government hopes to provide a quick response that will immediately address and respond to the public’s emergency concerns,” he said on Tuesday, September 15.
