VM Gerald German explains why Pateros ain’t lifting curfew

The numbers from the Department of Health still look grim, so the heightened security protocols stay.

Vice Mayor Gerald German went to Facebook to explain why Pateros politikos decided to keep strict rules even as Metro Manila is relaxing via general community quarantine.

The politiko is appalled to hear that DOH reported more than 1,000 additional cases in one go on May 29, regardless of their new definitions for reporting. While GCQ meant going more lenient, for him it’s always safety first.

“Kaya sa Pateros, requirement pa rin ang QPass. May curfew pa rin ng 8pm to 5am. Kaya huwag ng lumabas ng bahay kung hindi naman talaga kailangan. Stay home and stay alive!,” German added.
