DPWH eyes completion of NLEX Harbor Link’s R-10 ramp by June 15
The R-10 exit ramp of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Harbor Link is seen to be finished by June 15 following the completion of deck slab concreting works.
Public Works Secretary Mark Villar said recently inspected the NLEX Harbor Link as the contractor resumed construction works following new protocols set by the Department of Public Works and Highways on construction activities.
When completed, the Harbor Link project is expected to cut travel time from Quezon City to Manila from 2 hours to only 10 minutes.
Segment 10, Exit Ramp to R-10 is a 2.6-kilometer 4-lane elevated ramp that will extend NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10 exit to Radial Road 10 (R-10), using C-3 Road as its route.
Once completed, it is expected to provide direct access between the Port Area and the northern provinces of Luzon and cut travel time from Port Area to NLEX to only 10 minutes.
