Build pa more! Isko Moreno opens 5th COVID-19 quarantine facility in Manila
COVID-19 patients in Manila will have more options on where to stay in as Manila Mayor Isko Moreno launched on May 28 the fifth quarantine facility for probable and suspected coronavirus cases.
Moreno opened the 46-bed quarantine facility at the Arellano High School in Sta. Cruz along with Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna.
“I think by building more facilities like this, at least mabigyan man lang natin ng kapanatagan ng kalooban ang mga kababayan natin,” the mayor said.
Moreno also thanked frontliners who have been serving at hospitals since the pandemic started in March.
“All the frontliners, please stay safe and healthy. We need each other, we need all of us to come together and approach and confront COVID19,” he said.
The city government is targeting to open 12 quarantine facilities in Manila to cater the increasing number of probable and suspected COVID-19 cases.
