Netizens decry BF Homes extra delivery charge by the gate

This posh community went under fire for slapping gate chargers on poor delivery riders each time they visit the subdivision.

Netizens decried the surprise policy of BF Resort Village in Parañaque as they learned that the homeowners’ association started charging a separate P25 charge for each delivery entering the gated community. It was bad policy as thousands of homes rely on these services for food and supplies amid the pandemic.

“Our HOA are saying that riders aren’t suppose to reimburse the fees from the customer – where on earth will the riders get the money to pay for it? They don’t get much and they are also our frontliners in this pandemic,” said one post that compiled complaints of neighbors.

“We are already paying monthly dues. Idk what this is for.”

Come Wednesday, the homeowners’ group officers finally relented and said that all frees have been cancelled starting the morning of May 20.

How chaotic!
