He would have marched on stage again to claim a new diploma until COVID-19 struck.

Actor now Quezon City Congressman Alfred Vargas had been so bummed that COVID-19 took away the chance for him to parade across the stage and receive a new diploma for his Master’s in Public Administration.

A silver lining was former US President Barack Obama’s taped speech meant to be a graduation message for American students moving up this 2020, which he took as a dedication for him as well.

“I’m actually graduating from my MPA this semester but had to postpone my defense to later this year due to Covid. Thank you, @BarackObama, for inspiring us yet again! Your message resonates not only to the youth but to everyone who wants to make this world a better place,” the politiko said.
