Vico Sotto delivers food packs to 96% of Pasig’s poor
Vico Sotto may have been a new target of state harassment, but his work remains efficient as ever.
The millennial mayor announced on Twitter that the city has been able to release food packs to 96.5 percent of all poor families in Pasig. In numbers, that’s 159,062 homes equipped with food to get them through the lockdown period. Sotto needs 5,000 more relief packs, while others also got aid from the barangay level as well as from private donors.
A second wave is coming too, he pledged.
