Shop ‘til you drop! St. Luke’s BGC opens store with free groceries for health workers
St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) has opened a makeshift grocery store in its Bonifacio Global City (BGC) where frontline health workers and their employees can shop for free.
The store was launched Friday, April 3, at the Henry Sy, Sr. Auditorium.
In a Facebook post, SLMC said the frontline health workers and their families will be allowed to shop at the store for free as a token for their efforts to fight the coronavirus diseases 2019 (COVID-19).
“Our frontliners can choose from the array of food and other essentials they can use or share with their loved ones,” the hospital said.
A similar store will open at SLMC’s Quezon City hospital on April 7.
