Bibiyahe uli! QC gov’t tapstricycle drivers to deliver food packs
The Quezon City government has given tricycle drivers a chance to earn money by tapping them to deliver family food packs to different barangays.
Assistant City Administrator for Operations Alberto Kimpo said an initial batch of 60 tricycle drivers have been tapped to help the local government deliver the food packs.
Under the plan, TRD head Ben Ibon said 10 tricycle drivers from a specific Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) in each of the City’s six districts will be tapped to work everyday.
“Kada araw, ibang TODA naman ang pagkukunan natin ng tao at rotation ang duty para magkaroon ng pagkakataon ang lahat na kumita kahit paano,” said Ibon.
Tricycle drivers will be paid P500 per shift, on top of free meals.
