May social distancing pa rin! Taguig conducts house-to-house distribution of medicines

Personnel from the Taguig City Hall conducted house to house distribution of medicines to residents amid the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The distribution method ensured social distancing protocols were followed and minimized the exposure of both city hall and residents to the virus.

Among the items given to the residents were maintenance medicines for diabetes, hypertension at asthma, as well as medicine for tuberculosis.

As of Sunday, March 22, Taguig has 12 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 55 persons under investigation and eight persons under monitoring for the virus.

Mayor Lino Cayetano has ordered local authorities to strictly enforce the community quarantine and ensure people remain in their homes unless they need to go out for valid reasons.
