Magdalo solon on Luzon quarantine: Please, no more conflicting statements
Only clear guidelines, please.
Magdalo party-list Rep. Manuel Cabochan III on Tuesday urged government to provide clear-cut guidelines on the enhanced quarantine that was imposed over Luzon to delay the spread of Covid-19.
“The Filipino people deserve clear-cut guidelines, not conflicting statements from the government,” the party-list lawmaker said.
Cabochan said he recognized the need to implement the lockdown and to limit people’s movement to slow the coronavirus outbreak.
“We recognize the need to implement the enhanced community quarantine to observe social distancing and limit the movement of people,” he said.
“This would help in restricting and eliminating the spread of the virus. We all need to cooperate for the protection of everyone,” Cabochan said.
“However, the administration must provide necessary reassurance and guidance to our people especially on the basic needs and economic support, and the availability of transportation for health workers and medical frontliners,” he said.
