Miro Quimbo blasts UP basketball team’s lackluster game vs UST

POLITIKO - The bible of Philippine Politics.
This proud alumnus was dismayed by how the UP Men’s Basketball Team played in its first bid to secure a finals ticket in the UAAP.
Former Marikina Mayor Miro Quimbo was disappointed with the apparent lack of solid plays and a questionable system implemented by the Fighting Maroons during their Sunday game against the UST Growling Tigers, which defeated his home team, 89-69.
“DEVOUR is the word. Puede rin KINAIN kami ng Tigre today. UST has us all figured out. It’s not just a player thing really. It’s a system shit- something we need to have quickly to have any chance against UST,” Quimbo said.
He still supports his beloved alma mater especially with one do-or-die game left for the last spot. However, he dropped a hint of conceding to the yellow shirts.
“If UST continues to play this way, Ateneo needs to watch out,” Quimbo added.

It’s still #UPFight for him, but he’s realistic.
