Aprub kay bossing! Vico Sotto uses ‘Eat Bulaga’ to promote polio vaccination drive
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has found an effective platform to promote vaccination against polio: his father’s noontime show, Eat Bulaga.
During the show’s October 19 episode shot in Santolan, Pasig, host Ryan Agoncillo called on parents to have their children vaccinated against polio.
Sotto shared the cllip on his Facebook page, thanking the program for allowing him to promote one of the local government’s priority health programs.
Sotto said he wants the vaccination rate in Pasig to reach the national target of 95 percent as soon as possible.
He urged parents who have children aged five years old or younger to have them vaccinated against polio for free at the nearest barangay health center.
