Tom Villarin: PH vote vs Rohingya reso clear sign of bowing to China
We’re slowly but surely falling into China’s command, this politiko said.
Former Akbayan Rep. Tom Villarin was aghast to learn that the Philippines and China voted against a United Nations resolution calling to end human rights abuses for the Rohingya in Myanmar.
For him, it only meant that Beijing did some arm-twisting over Mania.
“This is too much pandering to China who protects Myanmar’s civilian-military government committing genocide against Rohingyans. All in exchange for China’s protection to Duterte being cited as a human rights violator by the international community. Shame on this regime!,” Villarin said in a tweet.
