Charisse Abalos wants this gender-neutral CRs

Will this end the long lines for women once and for all?

Mandaluyong Rep. Charisse Abalos read this idea from a global magazine which she found revolutionary and useful. She sees the concept of gender-neutral toilets, which accommodates both urinals and cubicles, as helping decongest women’s restrooms.

“Worth considering more floor space for women’s bathrooms—to at least alleviate the long waiting time, compared to that of the men’s bathroom,” Abalos said. “I hope more designers and architects would pay more attention to this.”

She even tasked the Mandaluyong Gender and Development to look into this.
