Bilis naman! Gary Alejano catches Duterte’s ‘corruption-free’ pitch for PH
It hasn’t even been months when President Rodrigo Duterte ranted about the level of corruption in government, now he’s eating his words.
Magdalo Party-list Rep. Gary Alejano called out Duterte anew, this time for inconsistencies in his assessment on the level of corruption in the Philippines.
This came as Duterte made a personal pitch to Thai businessmen during the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit in Bangkok last week. The President enticed Thai investors to come to the Philippines to access fast-learning workers and a “corruption-free” government.
“Parang kailan lang I heard him said too much corruption in the country, di na niya kaya. Ngayon, corruption-free na ang business climate sa bansa..hmmm,” Alejano said.
Which is true and which one is for show? You decide.
