Kalayaan sa kahirapan: Taguig gives away livelihood kits on Independence Day
The local government of Taguig City is encouraging residents to be free from poverty by giving them tools to earn a livelihood.
In celebration of Independence Day, Mayor Lani Cayetano led the distribution of livelihood kits to residents.
Among the packages given by the local government were food carts, rice, hairdressing kit, beauty care kit, massage kit, carpentry kit, electrical kit, automotive kit, dishwashing kit, beads kit, and perfume kit.
Residents who attended the Independence Day celebration at EM’s Signal Village Elementary School also received invitations to take part in the livelihood skills training program conducted for free by the local government.
Cayetano said in her speech that the city government is committed to helping Taguig residents uplift their lives.
