Gary Alejano trusts Pinoy fishermen who say Chinese boat rammed them
They’ve been fishing in that area for the longest time, and they know how the enemy looks like.
Magdalo Party-list Rep. Gary Alejano fully trusts the 22 Filipino fishermen who survived their capsized boat near Recto Bank in the West Philippine Sea when they said that it was a Chinese boat who rammed them that night.
The politiko, however, couldn’t believe why government agencies are not convinced.
“Our fishermen have been fishing in that area for years. Anino pa lang, gawa at kulay pa lang ng bangka, mukha ng mga crew, alam na nila kung sino mga ito,” Alejano said.

The Chinese embassy eventually admitted that the boat was theirs, but said that the ramming only happened out of their vessel’s supposed fear due to allegedly being surrounded by Pinoy fishing boats. This has been quickly disproven by maritime experts.
