Sa wakas! Precious Hipolito’s pet ordinance finally wins council nod
An upgrade is coming for the local university.
Councilor Precious Hipolito-Castelo is wrapping up her tenure at the Quezon City Council with a bang.
During their Monday meeting, the council approved her proposed ordinance converting the Quezon City Polytechnic University into the QC University. What’s more, it gives free education especially for poor students.
This is special, as it was one of the ordinances she has been pushing from her very first term in the post.
“My deepest gratitude to Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte, Mayor Herbert Bautista, Councilors @alys0nrae & @katecoseteng (co-authors) & my colleagues from the Council for saying YES! after 9 yrs fr the time of my proposal,” she said.
