Walang mintis! Winnie Castelo logs perfect attendance record in 9 years as congressman
Quezon City Rep. Winnie Castelo could very well win the “Best in Attendance” award in the House of Representatives if ever there was one.
With his term drawing to a close in June, the lawmaker shared that he recorded zero absences throughout the nine years he spent in Congress.
Adding up all the session days from the 15th to 17th Congress, Castelo was present for 594 days at the plenary.
In a Facebook post where he shared his attendance record, Castelo said he worked hard to make sure he serves his constituents in Quezon City’s second district well.
Due to the three-term limit for congressmen, Castelo will be running for councilor in the May midterm polls.
