Pass or fail? Check out which Metro Manila LGUs got DILG’s nod for effective Anti-Drug Abuse Councils
Of the 16 cities and one municipality comprising Metro Manila, only 11 passed the Department of Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) audit of the Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) with flying colors.
The DILG recently presented the first National Anti-Drug Abuse Council Performance Award to the 11 LGUs in a ceremony held in Manila last week.
The LGUs which bagged the Gold Award were the cities of Pasig, Quezon, San Juan and Valenzuela.
The Silver awardees, meanwhile, were the cities of Mandaluyong, Marikina, Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Muntinlupa and Pasay.
The ADAC performance award is given to LGUs whose ADACs were effective in implementing programs against drug abuse.
