New toys for big boys: Oca Malapitan gives bikes, guns to Caloocan police
The Caloocan City Police District will be welcoming 2019 with new “toys” to go after goons with the generous donation by Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan.
Before Christmas, Malapitan turned over to the Caloocan City police chief Sr. Supt. Restituto Arcangel and assistant chief of police for administration Supt. Ferdinand Del Rosario 136 new firearms and 18 motorcycle patrol units.
Malapitan said the donation is aimed at boosting the city police force’s anti-criminality operations.
In response, Del Rosario vowed that members of the Caloocan City police will be alert in responding to emergencies and calls for help.
“The whole city police force is very much thankful for the unwavering support of Mayor Oca. Our policemen will always respond quickly to calls for law enforcement and service,” he said.
