Ewan ko kay Bobby Eusebio: Vic Sotto clueless about ‘Eat Bulaga’ ban in Pasig
Vic Sotto has yet to confirm rumors that “Eat Bulaga,” the popular noontime show he hosts, can’t shoot in Pasig City for political reasons.
In an interview for the tabloid Abante’s online show, “Abantelliling,” Sotto said he was hopeful that Pasig mayor Bobby Eusebio isn’t depriving residents of the chance to watch “Eat Bulaga” live should it decide to shoot in any of the city’s barangays.
“Ewan ko sa mayor dun. Ipinagbabawal ang kaligayahan ng mga tao. Pero maaayos natin ‘yun,” he said.
Sotto’s son, Vico, is running against Eusebio for mayor in the 2019 elections.
The Sotto-Eusebio rivalry is said to be the reason why “Eat Bulaga” is banned in Pasig since the show might be used by Vico to woo voters.
