Let’s get physical! Charisse Abalos works up a sweat in tae-bo session
Mandaluyong City councilor Charisse Abalos showed trying to get fit can be fun as she joined more than 50 residents in a public tae-bo and aerobics session on Monday.
Abalos gamely jogged and punched her fists into the air during the session, which was held at the Blue Building’s city grounds.
She and the other participants wore an orange shirt with a print at the bottom which read, “Stop Violence Against Women.”
Abalos said the public exercise event was the city’s way of joining the 18-day campaign to end violence against women, which started on November 25 and will last until December 12.
