Wala nang mawawala! Marikina makes street signs bolder, better
Motorists and commuters will now have an easier time navigating through Marikina City with the improved street signages installed by the local government.
Mayor Marcelino Teodoro ordered the existing street signs replaced with ones that are bigger and easily readable for the public’s benefit.
As of September 27, 39 percent or 1,789 of the 4,634 street signs in the city have been replaced.
The city government aims to complete the installation of all street signs before the end of the year.
With the new street signs, Teodoro said motorists and commuters can easily locate the area they want to go.
There will also be a lesser chance that courier service personnel will be lost when delivering items to customers.
