‘Di mato-‘Tokhang’! PDEA declares Ayala Alabang drug-free
The posh Ayala Alabang village in Muntinlupa City has been declared a “drug cleared barangay” by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Barangay officials led by captain Ruben Baes received a certification from PDEA that the barangay is drug-free during a simple ceremony held Friday.
A tarpaulin declaring the barangay as a “drug free workplace” was also unfurled.
Councilor Lester Baes attended the awarding ceremony for Ayala Alabang officials on behalf of Mayor Jaime Fresnedi.
PDEA officials said Ayala Alabang was declared drug-free after a process that took three to five months.
Baes said all officials and residents of the barangay worked hard to ensure Ayala Alabang will be cleared of drugs.
