Vintage beauties! Presidential Car Museum opens in QC
A museum featuring the cars used by former Presidents– from Emilio Aguinaldo to Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo– is now open to the public.
The National Historical Commission of the Philippines on Sunday launched the Presidential Cars Museum at the Quezon City Memorial Circle. Among the personalities who graced the opening were Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.
Among the cars diplayed in the museum are the Packard Single-6 233 Series used by Aguinaldo, Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limousine used by the late President Manuel Roxas, and the Lincoln Continental Mark VI of former President Ferdinand Marcos.
The museum will also feature a special section for the Rolls-Royce Phantom V of former First Lady Imelda Marcos, as well as the vehicles donated by General Douglas McArthur,
The Presidential Car Museum is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday. Entrance is free.
