QC gov’t suspends classes on August 20 for Quezon Day
The local government of Quezon City has suspended classes in all levels on August 20 for the commemoration of the late President Manuel Quezon’s birth anniversary.
City Administrator Aldrin Cuña said in a memorandum that the suspension of classes will allow students to commemorate Quezon’s birth anniversary through local activities.
There will be no classes in both public and private schools.
Cuña said appropriate remedial classes and school work shall be provided by the faculty.
Mayor Herbert Bautista will lead the celebration of Quezon’s birth anniversary on Sunday.
