Sulit naman pala: Miro Quimbo’s Sunday OT for tax reform gets approved
The hard work of these politikos really paid off.
Marikina Congressman Romero “Miro” Quimbo joined fellow solons in working on a new draft bill for the second tax reform package being pushed by the Department of Finance.
Quimbo and fellow members of the House Committee on Ways and Means, which included Reps. Raneo Abu, Sharon Garin, and Dakila Cua, reported for duty at the Batasan complex on Sunday, Aug. 5 to finalize the measure under a technical working group.
It has paid off, as the new bill was approved by the committee two days later. It is now called the TRABAHO bill, short for Tax Reform for Attracting Better and High-quality Opportunities.
