Bill ko yan! Ruffy Biazon proud National ID signed into law

It took him five terms before somebody listened.
Congressman Ruffy Biazon of Muntinlupa could not help but feel immense pride after President Rodrigo Duterte signed into law the Philippine ID System Act on Monday, Aug. 6.
The politiko felt like his career has come full circle, as this was one of his very first bills as a lawmaker.
“After 5 Congresses and 2 Presidential Administrations, it’s now officially established,” Biazon shared.
Finally, it’s a law! RA 11055, the Philippine ID System Act has been signed into law by President Duterte, 17 years after I first filed the bill in the 12th Congress. After 5 Congresses and 2 Presidential Administrations, it’s now officially established.
