Tom Villarin says PH became ‘dreadful, deadly’ under Duterte

A lot of blood has been shed two years into this administration.

Akbayan Party-list Rep. Tom Villarin said the Philippines is slipping backwards in rule of law, as killings have been more rampant under President Rodrigo Duterte’s watch. In fact, it appears that any murder becomes legitimized and justified all in the name of drugs.

“Pres Duterte’s cornerstone policy is the tombstone of innocents and those killed without due process in a failed illegal drugs campaign,” Villarin said in a tweet.

“Is rule of law now abandoned over assassination? Is it open season for killers, assassins? It’s dreadful & deadly living with Duterte.”
