Walang pasok! Metro mayors suspend classes Monday due to inclement weather

Several mayors in Metro Manila announced suspension of classes in their respective areas Monday due to inclement weather caused by southwest monsoon or habagat.

Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista and Malabon City Mayor Lenlen Oreta were among the first to cancel classes.

Bautista said the suspension of work in public and private schools will depend on their respective administrators.

Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada and San Juan City Mayor Guia Gomez also announced class suspensions through their official social media accounts.

Typhoon Domeng enhanced by southwest monsoon brought heavy rains in Metro Manila over the weekend causing floods in various areas in the city.
