SC declares half-day work suspension in NCR due to bad weather
The Supreme Court has declared half-day suspension of work at all courts in the National Capital Region due to inclement weather.
SC Acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio issued the directive Monday amid heavy rains brought about by the southwest monsoon or habagat.
“Court workers at the National Capital Judicial Region were instructed to report for work until only 12 noon on Monday,” SC spokesperson Theodore Te said in an advisory.
“For all other courts in other areas, executive judges are given discretion,” he added.
Classes have also been canceled in several areas as well as flights due to bad weather.
