Aprub ba kay Digong ‘yan? Atienza taps village chiefs to display tarps bearing his pics and Duterte

Buhay party-list Rep. Lito Atienza recently tapped several village chiefs in Metro Manila to post a tarpaulin detailing the programs being offered by his party-list group.

In his Facebook page, Atienza posted several pictures of the barangay chairpersons installing the tarpaulins in their localities.

The former Manila mayor captioned the album with, “Buhay na Buhay ang pagtutulungan at pagkakapwa-tao ngayong panahon ng Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte. Salamat sa lahat ng mga Chairman na katuwang namin sa paghahatid ng mga programang nakalaan para sa inyo. Buhayin natin ang Maynila at Baguhin ang ating bansa!”

The green-colored tarpaulins bear the photos of Atienza and Duterte.

Duterte, as most people know, hates his picture or even his mere name to be posted on signages or tarpaulins of government projects even when he was mayor of Davao City.

To show how much he abhors “epal” politikos, when he became President, he issued a memorandum circular prohibiting the display of his photos and of elected and appointed officials in government offices and schools. Instead, he ordered to display photos or paintings of Philippine heroes.

We wonder how Duterte (or his supporters) will react to these tarpaulins of Atienza.
