Hustisya ang sigaw: Dengvaxia kids join advocacy run in Quezon City

Around 200 children, most of them have been injected with Dengvaxia vaccine, joined an advocacy run for “justice” in Quezon City Saturday.

Accompanied by their parents, the children, coming from various cities in Metro Manila, trooped to Quezon City Memorial Circle early morning on Saturday for the run.

The activity was organized by Salinlahi, a non-government organization for the advancement of the rights and welfare of the Filipino children.

The participants were calling for justice and full accountability, not only of Dengvaxia manufacturer Sanofi Pasteur and administration of former President Benigno Aquino III but also the present administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.

The anti-dengue vaccine Dengvaxia is one of the major controversies hounding the Aquino administration amid deaths of some children administered with the vaccine, which Sanofi subsequently warned of severe effects to patients without prior infection.
